Google Maps on Mobile – Street View

One of the best features about Google Maps is the Street View feature. If you are traveling somewhere for the first time, street view allows you to visualize what the area looks like without you actually being there. As an example, you could see where a business is located in a strip mall by navigating through the street view. The Street View feature is now available on mobile Android devices. BGR has a post showing a screen shot of Google Maps on a mobile device. Once you tap the Street View icon, the layer will expose the street view. Unlike the browser version, you will have to tap the location on the map to inspect instead of dragging around.
