Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday Brings Almost 100 Fixes
March 10, 2022
As we’ve recommended many times, patches should be installed as quickly as possible. The recent Microsoft Patch Tuesday is no exception. Bleeping Computer posts that Microsoft has released patches for 71 known vulnerabilities, including 3 zero-day fixes. In addition, there are an additional 21 fixes for Microsoft Edge vulnerabilities. If there is any good news, the zero-days vulnerabilities are not being actively exploited in the wild.
One fix included in the updates is a fix for the OneDrive bug that left files behind after a Windows reset. The Register has a post with details about the fix. Unfortunately, the update won’t immediately get all your files back in sync. It may take up to seven days to fully resolve the problem. Once you install the patch, you may still need to manually deal with the situation to get everything back to working properly.
