Stupid is as Stupid Does

Forrest Gump must have gotten it right. The weakest link in any security program is a human being. No matter how much technology you deploy or what rigid policies are in place, the human will find a way to screw it up. Apparently, users can’t seem to lock their devices with anything more than a easily hacked passcode. iDrop News reported the twenty worst and most easily guessed passcodes (iPhone and Android) revealed by security expert Tarah Wheeler.

The scary truth is that these twenty crappy passcodes are used on 26% of mobile devices. Unbelievable. In 2011, the most common lock code was 1234. Ten years later the most common lock code is 1234. Further support that stupid is as stupid does.
