Michigan High School Shooting Could Have Been Planned; “Mountain of Digital Evidence”

December 9, 2021

On December 3, 2021, CBS News reported on the Michigan school shooting that occurred at Oxford High School. The alleged shooter, Ethan Crumbley, is being charged as an adult as he faces 24 charges including four counts of first-degree murder. ;14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, 16-year-old Tate Myre, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin, and 17-year-old Justin Shilling, were all shot and killed.

Investigators said that there is a “mountain of digital evidence” that suggests Crumbley planned the shooting in advance. A social media post was found by law enforcement officials that showed the gun being used in the attack, which investigators found was bought only four days prior to the shooting.

In addition, law enforcement officials added that there is a video that Crumbley made the night before the attack, which showed him mentioning killing students. There was also a journal found in his backpack that showed his full desire to “shoot up the school” according to officials.

Investigators say that the suspect walked into a school bathroom around 12:50 local time on November 30, left holding a gun in their hand, and walked down the hallway “aiming the firearm at students and firing,” said officials.
