Windows 10 Required for Office 2019

Still running Windows 7? You won't be able to run Office 2019. Microsoft advises that Office 2019 will only run on the latest operating system. It's a move to push people to upgrade their operating system or jump on the Office 365 subscription train. That constant revenue stream is awfully attractive to businesses. At least you still have an option for a one time purchase of Office for now. At some point, I would expect Microsoft (and others) to only offer subscription based applications. Office 2019 is expected to be released this summer.
