Vista End of Life

March 14, 2017

I have to admit that I don't know a single person that is still using the Vista version of Microsoft Windows. Perhaps you do. If so, there is less than a month left until Microsoft pulls the plug. From my foxhole, Microsoft should have killed it several years ago. So what does this mean? It means you will no longer get any security fixes after April 11, 2017. That puts you in the same position as XP users. If a new vulnerability is discovered, you will not be protected and potentially exposed to attack. If you are an attorney, that means you are not adequately protecting your client's confidential data and may subject yourself to a violation of your ethical duties. No matter what the reason, you now have a really good reason to ditch Vista.
