Mobile Devices Swarming the Internet

BRG reported that according to data released by StatCounter, 51.3% of all web visits last month came from mobile devices compared to 48.7% of visits from traditional computing platforms. That would make sense as more people are moving towards tablets and laptops as replacements for their desktops. The stats are reversed for Internet traffic originating from the United States. Desktop machines accounted for 58% of web visits while mobile devices accounted for 42% of visits. You couldn't prove it by me as I see more people fixated on their smartphones while driving their vehicles. Perhaps that's because a full sized keyboard doesn't come in a color to match the car's interior.
