HOA President Arrested Based on Digital Evidence from his own Hidden Camera

According to an article recently posted on historicity.com, a site covering news in the St. Augustine, Florida area, Robert William Orr was recently arrested on four counts of video voyeurism.

According to reports, Orr, the 59 year old HOA president at the Las Brisas Condominiums, had been the caretaker of one of the units for another resident who was out of state and letting others use the condo for vacations.

On August 30, 2022, a female guest was preparing to leave the condo after a weekend getaway when she noticed something strange poking out of a potted plant in the bedroom. Upon further inspection she found a tiny camera hidden amongst the leaves. The county sheriff’s office was contacted and digital evidence was extracted from the memory card found in the camera.

The camera contained videos of two different visitors to the condo in various stages of undress in the bedroom as well as video of Orr setting the camera up and testing it in the hidden location.

A search warrant was obtained for Orr’s residence and additional spy cameras and other devices were seized and are awaiting digital forensic analysis.
