Microsoft Celebrates Cybersecurity Awareness Month with Excellent Articles for Consumers

Microsoft decided to celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month with a series of articles designed for end-users (and consumers) on how to get more secure. The most recent article, published yesterday, is "Be Safer Over Wireless Connections." This is an important topic – and it is (truly) written in plain English so you can understand the dangers of Wi-Fi and learn how to make yourself more secure when using Wi-Fi.

The previous two articles are "Three Easy Steps to Improve Your Cybersecurity" and "The Keys to Your Kingdom: Securing Your Devices and Accounts."

So often, I have no choice but to give readers things that are fairly complex to read and understand. It is a happy moment when I can offer up a series of articles that are meant to be read not by a cybersecurity specialist but by end users. If you read the weekly articles that Microsoft is publishing throughout October, you'll be a much wiser end user, with practical tools to protect yourself.
