Washington Post Guide to Privacy Settings for Amazon, Google, Facebook and Venmo

September 30, 2021

On September 24, The Washington Post published a very handy guide to upping your privacy settings for some of the most popular services online, including Amazon, Google, Facebook and Venmo.

The guide focuses on changing settings through websites, but unless noted, the instructions should work on individual iOS and Android apps.

As the post says, “take back power over your information.” The new Washington Post Help Desk will add more companies, tools and tips. If you are worried about another tool or service, you can write the Help Desk to ask for help as well.

A most excellent resource!
