Apple’s Latest Mistake – The iPad Pro
November 25, 2015
Bigger isn’t always better. Some smartphone models have gotten so big it feels like the old days of walking around with a boom box on your shoulder. ZDNet has a recent post that blasts the iPad Pro as being way too big and says it will never see the light of day in the enterprise. The author is also critical about the size making it difficult to hold, normally requiring two hands. There are many commentators trying to make you believe that the iPad Pro can be a laptop replacement. I don’t think so. After all, the iPad Pro is still an iOS device, which limits its ability to install typical business productivity software. Obviously, you can function well using Office 365 or Microsoft Office for iOS. I echo a lot of the observations in the ZDNet post and suggest you stick with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 if you’re looking for a tablet to replace your laptop.
