Bad Guys 1 – Apple 0

December 11, 2014

Apple has released version 8.1.2 of iOS that includes various fixes and improvements. One of those fixes is an iTunes Store related issue. Apparently, Apple didn’t fix the vulnerability to prevent jailbreaking. As a result, the TaiG tool can still be used to jailbreak an iOS device even if it has been upgraded to version 8.1.2 according to BGR. The TaiG update is required to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 devices. It’s a simple process as long as you have a Windows computer. Apple has had a lot of issues with the various iOS 8 updates so expect more patches in the future.
