Chrome Serious About Protecting Transmitted Data

August 28, 2017

If you are responsible for your firm's website, you should be hard at work making sure that all pages and elements on the pages are indicated as secure. In other words, you should be seeing a green padlock (or similar symbol) in the address bar. To help provide some incentive, Chrome will mark HTTP sites as insecure if the site contains forms or other input fields that are not secured using HTTPS. Chrome will begin enforcing this security issue in October.

Google is already penalizing non-secure websites in its page ranking so get that green padlock now.
