Huge Solid State Drive from Samsung Now Shipping

If you have a lot of money to burn, you can now get a massive 16TB solid state drive from Samsung. That makes it the largest capacity drive available for purchase. It officially stores 15.36TB and is expected to cost around $5,000. That's pretty pricey for a SSD, but you know there are large enterprises that will pay the bill. Perhaps you won't see one under the Christmas tree this year, but it gives you an idea of where storage technology is going.
