Internet Explorer Soon to be a Dead Product

December 10, 2015

The date of death is January 12, 2016. Microsoft will no longer provide support for ANY version of Internet Explorer other than IE 11 after that date. You can still use IE, but the security risk will significantly increase since there will no longer be any security updates (or any other updates). Microsoft wants you to upgrade to Window 10 and the Edge browser instead of using IE. Frankly, I think that a large number of users have moved from IE and are now using Chrome or Firefox. Notice there is no mention of Safari. I, for one, am tired of dealing with the instability of IE and websites that don’t render properly in IE. It’s about time Microsoft killed IE, but is Edge really the answer?
