Microsoft Announces Universal Keyboard

September 22, 2014

Microsoft isn’t just a software developer. It also produce some pretty good hardware too. Xbox Gamers know Microsoft’s hardware well. Fewer people know that Microsoft also has a large variety of wireless keyboards and mice. To add to the keyboard line, Microsoft has announced the Universal Mobile Keyboard that will be available next month. It may be the last mobile keyboard that you ever buy.

Why? Because the keyboard will work with the iPad, iPhone, Windows and Android devices. There is a switch where you select the appropriate operating system and still maintain a fully functional keyboard. It uses Bluetooth to connect and turns on and off automatically as you open and close the cover. The keyboard is expected to cost $79.95 and will be available at Microsoft stores and other retailers.
