New Galaxy Smartphones Arrive March 11th

According to ars technica, Samsung has revealed that the successor to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The ars post gives a complete rundown of the specifications and features of the new S7 and S7 Edge. Samsung was criticized for removing several features when it released the S6 and S6 Edge. The micro SD expansion card will return to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Also back is water and dust resistance that exists in the Galaxy S5, but was dropped for the S6 models. Battery life is also improved. Both models will ship with the latest Marshmallow operating system, which allows users to merge the he SD card with the internal flash memory to create one large seamless pool of storage. Another reason to love the return of the SD card. Wireless charging is supported as is NFC. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be released on March 11th, with pre-orders beginning February 23rd.
