No Office for Windows 8 Tablets

It was a big splash event when Microsoft released Office for the iPad, but what about the other mobile platforms? According to BGR, Microsoft Office will be released for Android tablets before there will be a version running on Windows 8 tablets. It makes sense if you think about it. Just like most software application developers, you write software based upon market share. There are a heck of a lot more Android tablet users than Windows tablets, so it makes sense to go there next. ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley predicts that we should see Office for Android tables in the spring of 2015.
