Own an iOS Device? Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid

April 21, 2015

Recently, security researchers have discovered that there is a problem with some HTTPS (secure HTTP) connections. The vulnerability allows an attacker to intercept your encrypted passwords and other web traffic. In a recent post on ars technica, they called out about 1,500 apps that are vulnerable on iOS devices. Geez…and here a lot of folks thought that Apple is a secure operating environment. If you are running one of the identified vulnerable applications, a quick uninstall is in order.
