Premium Price for 1TB SSD

Samsung has just announced a 1TB SSD drive that is the size of a credit card. The new drive has killer transfer speeds up to 450MBps over a USB 3.0 connection. You can also protect the data by enabling the 256-bit AES built-in encryption. Everything sounds great until you discover how much this high capacity, secure, fast transfer device costs. The 1TB drive will set you back $599. Ouch. That really hurts, especially since you can get 1TB external USB drives for around $60 (one tenth of the cost).
