You Can Still Do a Clean Install of Windows 10 with the Free Upgrade

Ars technica has confirmed that you will have the ability to do a clean installation of Windows 10 even with the free upgrade. Most Windows 7 and 8 users can get the free upgrade to Windows 10 for a year after the July 29th release. After you get the upgrade, you’ll be able to install Windows 10 from an ISO (that’s a CD or DVD image for those that don’t know what an ISO is) without having to reinstall your original Windows 7 or 8 and providing a product key. We’ll have to see how it really works, but Microsoft has assured us that a clean Windows install is possible from the upgrade. That’s good news.
