Multiple User Accounts on an iPad?
September 12, 2019
Educational institutions can use Apple's "Shared iPad for Education" feature to allow multiple students to share a single iPad device. This feature is only available for schools and requires the Apple School Manager service to pull it off. Everyone else is screwed. That's because Apple wants everybody to have their own iPad. It's another reason why the iPad won't be a laptop replacement.
Even though you can only have one user account for your iPad, How-To Geek has some suggestions for sharing a single device among adults. One suggestion is to use two different email clients for two different email addresses. Assuming you don't share the unlock password, you can always register fingers from different people to unlock the device. No matter what, you still can't get around using only one Apple ID, which effectively means one user.
