Eight Tips for Professional Looking Word Documents

Microsoft Word is the most used word processing software. However, in my experience, the majority of Word users don’t know how to properly use the software. The documents are a mess when it comes to formatting. As an example, smashing the space bar is NOT the right way to indent a paragraph. Not to worry. How-To Geek has a post with eight tips for creating professional looking documents.

  5. Format Using Columns When They Fit

There are some great tips here complete with instructions and screenshots. I would add one more to the list – use a table to align data. This is different than formatting with columns.
