Four Ways to Recover Deleted Gmail Messages

April 19, 2022

The obvious question is why was the message deleted in the first place? Accidents and mistakes do happen. There may be an occasion when we need to restore a Gmail message. TechViral has a post with four methods to recover deleted Gmail emails. The majority of Gmail users have 30 days to recover a deleted email. If you are a Gmail administrator, you have up to 55 days instead of the normal 30. Each of the four methods are pretty easy to follow.

  1. Recover Deleted Emails in Gmail
  2. Recover Deleted Emails from Gmail Mobile App
  3. How to Recover Emails after 30 days?
  4. Recover Permanently Deleted Emails in Gmail

Most users will use a browser to recover messages from their Gmail accounts. Using the mobile app is another alternative. It is less likely that you are a Gmail administrator so your options are limited beyond the 30 day limit. As a last resort, there is a Google tool to attempt recovery of a deleted message. It doesn’t always work, but it’s worth a try if everything else fails. The best advice is not to delete the message in the first place. If you do, make sure you get to it before 30 days pass.
