Install Google Drive as a Progressive Web App

Web Store apps for Google Chrome will end this year. Instead, Google will move forward with Progressive Web Apps (PWA). You can now install Google Drive as a Progressive Web App just like YouTube Music and Google Photos. Essentially this means that you would access the service from the Apps icon within the Chrome browser. Installation is really easy. You will see a plus sign at the far right of the URL address bar for those services that can be installed as a PWA. Just click on the plus sign and the app installs. You access the app from the App icon, which launches in a separate window.
