Outlook Users Can Undo Send Just Like Gmail Users

June 17, 2019

We all move much too fast these days and are prone to make mistakes as we rush through tasks during the day. I’m sure every one of us has clicked on Send and then went…oh crud I shouldn’t have done that. Gmail users have had an undo send feature for some time. Now Outlook users can enable undo send as well. The feature works the same way as Gmail by giving you a few seconds to undo the send operation by clicking the “undo” button. How-To-Geek has the detailed steps to follow.

Outlook.com (Outlook web app) has a modern and classic version. The process is generally the same with each, but getting to the settings is a little different depending on the version. You have a lot more options if you use the Microsoft Outlook client. It’s more complicated to enable, but you can apply the feature to one or multiple messages. With Outlook it is really delaying the sending and not specifically an undo feature. Users of Microsoft’s Mobile app currently don’t have the option to delay or undo sending.
