Stop Using Internet Explorer
September 24, 2019
There are all sorts of studies that show usage of Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) browser is very low. However, there are some people that continue to use the "dead" browser. Microsoft replaced IE with the Edge browser, which is now powered by the same open-source web rendering engine that powers Google's Chrome browser.
In case you needed another reason to stop using IE, a new bug has been discovered that can take over your entire PC. The vulnerability exists in every version of IE for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. Microsoft has just released an out-of-band security update to address the vulnerability. Make sure you install the patch now. Better yet, stop using IE and install Chrome or Firefox.
