You May Want to Hold Off on the Windows 10 KB4524147 Update

October 7, 2019

Under normal circumstances, you will want to install the latest updates as they are released from the manufacturer. Apparently, some folks are having problems with the Windows 10 KB4524147 Update. After installing the update, there are reports of problems with printing and even just booting Windows. Some users are reporting problems with just selecting the Start Menu option. The KB4524147update contains fixes for users of Internet Explorer (are there more than two users?).

Bottom line…if you have problems with the installation of the latest update, just uninstall it to get you back to a working system.
